Linda, what a great mentor you were to me as a fledgling teacher at St Johns all those years ago. You let John and I get away with murder on so many occasion and how I will remember the tears in your eyes as we giggled uncontrollably together with John Hastings too. I know you loved the mischief we got up to, but you started it and set the tone, so you only had yourself to blame :-) I wonder if you'll ever know (probably) how many times as a head myself, I reflected on and adopted the way you always listened so well, gave advice and guidance to children, staff and parents so carefully and ALWAYS had time for everyone. Your door was always open. I will be forever in your debt and you will forever be among the fondest memories - too numerous to mention - of the mischief and laughter that accompanied our shared journey through those years that doubtless shaped the person I became. Thank you Linda x
